Anthems – Downtown Voices
On Sunday November 13 at 3pm, Downtown Voices featuring the NOVUS NY string quartet explore works by Undine Smith Moore, Jessie Montgomery, Jenni Brandon and David Lang in an array of selections that explore various composers takes on an “anthem” or a song that represents ideals. Compline: Lessons and Carols
Compline By Candlelight on December 4th features Downtown Voices, St. Paul’s Chapel Choir, and the Trinity Youth Chorus in a cherished holiday tradition for congregations around the world: the service of Lessons and Carols tells the Christmas story through readings and musical illuminations. The performance will be conducted by ensemble directors Stephen Sands, Thomas McCargar and Melissa Attebury.
